5 Favorite Winter Makeup Looks

Friendsgiving, company parties, get-togethers — a boss lady socialite is ready for them all. Our last blog discussed winter fashion trends, but how will you wear your makeup? No worries! I’m listing my favorite winter makeup looks perfect for everything from casual outings to formal functions.

Think Pink
Believe it or not, that cold winter flush look is adorable! You can create it by simply applying your favorite pink shimmering shadow with complimentary pink blush and lipstick. Choose wisely as there are various shades of pink so choose one that works with your skin tone. One rule of thumb is choose a pink that is slightly lighter than skin tone. Do this and you’ll get a glowing fresh-faced look ready for selfies.

Shimmer Liners
Here we are with the shimmer and glimmer again. Winters can be hectic. Applying a gold, silver, white, or rose gold shimmer liner on the lower lash lines can glam up your eyes instantly. Don’t forget to blend it into the inner part of your eyes to get that refreshed look that says “No, I haven’t been up all night worrying about year-end reports”.

Wine Lips
Nothing says “I’m awesome and I don’t mind the attention” than sultry, wine colored lips. This winter look is dramatic and delicious on ladies of all skin tones. Pair the dark pout with some gold highlights and you’re ready an epic girls night out.

Gold Everything
Speaking of gold, get ready to glam and glow this season! The festive atmosphere at this time of year is a perfect excuse to slay and shine. Bring forward your inner goddess with gloriously gold eyes, highlights, and lips. Just imagine how camera-ready you are when the flash goes off!

Bold Everything
Forget the rules this winter. Who says you should only bolden one feature of your face? Want to play up your eyes AND lips? Do it! You’re a diva and you don’t worry about that less is more nonsense. Walk in a room like you own it and you will.

What’s your favorite winter makeup look?
