Hottest Spring Summer Trends to Slay NOW Part 1
As I'm prepping for #LAFW, many iconic events have wrapped up such as Paris, London, NY, and Milan. While everyone is talking about Fall/Winter 2018, spring fling is in full force. I figured an average gal would want to know what the heck to wear now versus 6 months from now.
So as your trusted "trendster", I'm breaking down the fiercest spring and summer looks you can slay right away. There are so many amazing obsessions this year that this has to be a 2-part series. Here is the first set of favorites!
Pink & Red
Two of my favorite colors are being blended for the ultimate fashion statement. From Oscar de la Renta to Brandon Maxwell, rouge and millennial pink combos made me drool like a fat kid around cake.
Slip & Slay
Slip dresses aren't going anywhere. They get a makeover. Instead of the ready-for-bed comfy slips, they are adorned and layered this year. Pair them with strappy sandals and/or fun textured jackets.
Dark Denim
Hope you still have those early 2000s and 90s dark denims. They're awesome again and can be tailored for a flirty or even refined look.
Feather & Fringe
On the runways of Elie Saab, Saint Laurent, and Balmain, models sashayed in fun feathery and fringy dresses, skirts, and jackets beautifully. So don't be shy, embrace the edge and expect some serious movement.
Trending Trenches
As someone who's obsessed with jackets regardless of the season, I died. The trench coats in shows like Alexander McQueen, Valentino, and of course Burberry were spectacular.
Sorbet Sass
Girly girls will absolutely love this style alert. Delicious colors include lilac, pink, pistachio, and lemon. Victoria Beckham and Hermes both embraced the new pastel obsession.
Whether you need to go open up your pretty purse or can go shopping in your closet, I'm sure you'll have a perfectly posh time putting these hottest trends and hues together. As always, the world is your runway.
