Best Looks From LAFW
Los Angeles Fashion Week did not disappoint with another spectacle at the Petersen Automotive Museum. While I was still recovering from NYFW and the street style feasting, LAFW helped ease the fashion withdrawal. The Fall/Winter show featured designers from New York to Dubai to indulge LA fashion enthusiasts with their exquisite and artistic collections. Here are some of the most memorable collections.
As usual, the famed Indian-American designer glammed up the runway at #LAFW with his signature ornate and intricately detailed gowns. The eveningwear designer has dressed royalties including but not limited to First Lady Michelle Obama, Queen Noor of Jordan, and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.
His auspicious collection at LAFW was bejeweled with lush embroidery, fringe, and metal accents. The colorful collection paid clear homage to the stylish 70s era.

The beloved LA-based fashion house and duo, Walter Mendez and Ryan Patros, introduced an ethereal and dreamy collection with ruffles, tulle, and ostrich feathers. The muted palettes resembled clouds as models floated down the runaway. Walter Collection has dressed A-Listers such as Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, and Beyoncé.

Romy Hourani introduced the ultimate “cool girl” collection with silhouettes that are feminine and fierce. The matching sets are drool-worthy while the ruffled dresses are sexy yet graceful. The modern and smart collection is what you would expect stylish socialites to wear or true social media fashionistas to adorn. While Romy is newer to the fashion scene compares to her peers, her threads have been featured on the covers of Cosmopolitan and Vogue.
