Live Nation and Jennifer Lopez announced today the cancellation of the upcoming summer This Is Me… Now tour. In a statement to her fans on OntheJLo, Lopez expressed her deep regret, stating that she needed to spend more time with her children, family, and close friends.

Ticketmaster simply informed fans, “Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event. No action is required to obtain a refund.” Entertainment Weekly cited a “logistical issue through the promoter” as the cause, though the specifics remain unclear.
In addition to these unfortunate occurrences, Jennifer Lopez may be on the brink of losing a staggering $90 million as she faces the potential cancellation of her Las Vegas residency. According to a report by Page Six, MGM has been closely monitoring Lopez’s ticket sales performance nationwide, raising concerns about the viability of her 90-show residency at the MGM Grand.
An insider shared, “MGM is watching her not doing well on the road. They are very nervous. It’s pretty rare you have a poor tour and then go to Vegas.” This scrutiny has led to discussions about possibly reducing the number of shows and consequently, the payout for Lopez.
This Is Me… Now The Tour, produced by Live Nation, was set to be a triumphant comeback after a five-year hiatus, following her successful 2019 tour which grossed over $50 million with sold-out venues nationwide. The 37-city tour was scheduled to kick off on June 26 in Orlando, FL, at the Kia Center, covering major North American cities before concluding on August 31 in Houston, TX, at the Toyota Center.
