Salice Rose Raises Money For Breast Cancer Awareness

One in eight women in the United States will develop breast cancer in her lifetime according to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. While 2020 is still plagued with coronavirus worries, an estimated 276,480 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women in America.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It is the second most common cancer in American women, except for skin cancer, and while it is most prevalent in women, men can get breast cancer as well.

Social media star Salice Rose is known for sharing her brave and relatable personal struggle and health story with almost 30 Million followers across multiple platforms including Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube. She understands the importance of raising awareness and contributing since a close family member had been diagnosed with cancer.

Salice shares “Cancer is such a hard battle to fight but you will win the war. So please keep fighting with prayer and positivity.”

The social media celebrity teams up with Looptify, an LA-based marketplace platform for notable celebrities, athletes and influencers to generate proceeds to fight breast cancer. The power duo are partnering to launch branded Breast Cancer Awareness merchandise designed by Salice Rose for her fans and followers. A portion of the proceeds raised will be donated to the National Foundation of Breast Cancer. Merchandise ranges from tee shirts to hoodies priced from $30 to $50.

Besides raising proceeds for the cause, Salice hopes that young fans and followers will be informed about the risk of breast cancer and be proactive in monitoring their breast health because early detection is key to survival.

Fans can purchase on the Looptify marketplace both available on iOS and Android app stores. The app also features merchandise exclusively created and sold by similar high profile celebrities. At the moment, Salice Rose branded merchandise is one of the major sellers on the app.

“We love giving back. Salice and her Manager Salomon Palacios wanted to find a creative way to give back to such a great cause. We believe in making an impact, regardless of size, to make our world a better place,” Looptify CEO Nate Llorando.

The National Breast Cancer Foundation cites that due to early detection and increased breast cancer awareness there were an estimated 375,900 fewer breast cancer deaths.

Salice encourages readers, fans and followers will start or continue to take breast health seriously to live healthily and save lives.
